Two people have been charged after a man was allegedly hit by a vehicle and then stabbed in South Oxhey.
Emergency services flooded Little Oxhey Lane at around 3.20pm on Thursday, May 4, after a vehicle crashed into a home causing structural damage and forcing it to be evacuated.
A police manhunt was launched involving a helicopter before three men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
On the day, a Herts Police spokesperson said: “A man was reportedly hit by a vehicle and then stabbed. He was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are serious, but not life-threatening.”
Those involved are believed to know each other, they added.
Several days later, Thomas McDonagh, 36, of Hemel Hempstead, was charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. Simon McDonagh, 33, of Naas Lane, Gloucester, was also charged with affray. Both were remanded into custody.
