A CCTV image has been released after someone reportedly shot a firework through a home’s letter box in Hertfordshire.
Officers released a picture of a man they want to speak to following the arson in Cromwell Road, Borehamwood.
The firework was allegedly set off through a letter box at around 4.10am on February 25, which damaged the hallway and set fire to a coat.

Today (May 2), PC Richard Tomlinson, from the Borehamwood Local Crime Unit, said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim and we are doing all we can to trace the individual(s) involved.
“I am appealing for the public’s help to identify the man in the picture as it is believed he was in the area at the time and may have information that could assist with our investigation.”
Information can be reported to police online or via non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 41/16088/23.
