A 21-year-old has been ordered to pay £754 after damaging the door to a local train station.
Arturs Plisko, of Kitson Way, in Harlow, Essex, appeared in Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court after being charged with criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
The charge, for destroying or damaging the front door to Croxley Station on April 3, 2022, was proved in his absence on April 21, this year.
Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court then fined the 21-year-old £220 and ordered him to pay £500 in compensation for the door, belonging to TfL and valued at £1,000.
He was also ordered to pay a £34 victim services surcharge.

A teenager from Watford was given a youth rehabilitation order including a requirement to participate in reparation for 15 days, a victim services surcharge of £22, and £100 in costs to pay.
After the now 17-year-old admitted to a charge of possessing cannabis with intent to supply, in London on October 19, 2020, his parent or guardian will be required to pay the £122.
Cannabis, mobile phones, and the grinder were forfeited and destroyed.
