A 15-year-old is in hospital with suspected stab wounds after an attack in Cassiobury Park.
Hertfordshire Constabulary have today (April 29) confirmed that the boy’s injuries are not currently being treated as life-threatening.
The force had been called to the park at around 5.45pm yesterday after an assault near the basketball courts.

When officers arrived, they found the injured 15-year-old nearby.
An investigation to trace the suspect is still ongoing and police urged anyone with information to call 101 quoting crime reference 41/34268/23.
Information can also be reported anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers.
Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed it was still at the scene via its social media channels at 7pm yesterday evening and added that a male had been taken to hospital for treatment.
They said: “We’re currently at Cassiobury Park in Watford following reports of an assault that occurred just after 5.45pm this evening.
“The incident happened close to the basketball courts and officers remain in the park at this time while enquiries are being carried out.”
