After police investigated, a 31-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and released on police bail.
Further investigative work by detectives then led to the arrest of a 40-year-old man from Borehamwood on suspicion of aggravated burglary, police revealed on April 27.
He has also been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service aggravated burglary is defined as follows “a person is guilty of aggravated burglary if they commit any burglary and at the time has with them any firearm or imitation firearm, any weapon of offence, or any explosive”.
