Locals spotted debris and a smashed traffic light after a crash near a roundabout.
Hertfordshire Constabulary have confirmed that no injuries were reported despite a vehicle hitting the railings and a traffic light by The Dome roundabout, in the early hours of April 25.
Herts Fire and Rescue crews were at the scene alongside police officers, at around 3.30am, and the vehicle was then recovered.

A passer-by photographed the road that morning, when a barrier had been put up and debris and the smashed-up traffic lights were strewn across the pavement at the side of the pedestrian crossing.
Hertfordshire County Council maintenance teams have confirmed that the traffic light, in North Western Avenue by the North Watford roundabout, was fixed and operational by 4pm the same day.
There were reports that a van had been "broken down" near to the debris at around the time of the crash.
