Two cars were set alight in Borehamwood, sparking an arson witness appeal.
Hertfordshire Constabulary appealed for witnesses and CCTV footage after a car was deliberately set on fire in Paxton Court, off Manor Way, on April 21.
It started between 3am and 4am, then spread to a second car parked nearby.
Police described their suspect as a white man of a large build, wearing jeans and a hoodie.
PC Kim Aylward-Jones said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious, or who caught anything unusual on CCTV."

Attempted Robbery
Police are also appealing for information after an attempted robbery in Borehamwood.
At around 10.30pm on April 20, in Belford Road, a man in a ski mask on a black electric bike tried to take another man’s laptop bag.
The victim managed to run away towards Aycliffe Road but the suspect chased him and tried to take his phone. He was punched before managing to escape without anything being taken.
The suspect is described as a black male around 5ft 11ins and wearing all black, including the ski mask.
