More than a thousand pounds was raised at a local quiz night attended by a Watford FC legend.
Luther Blissett was one of the quiz masters at the event held on Friday, April 14.
With the support of nearly 100 guests, the evening raised almost £1,300, which will be used to support local charities.
Watford’s Mayor Peter Taylor and MP Dean Russell were also quiz masters for the evening ran by the Watford Rotary.
The club’s president David Silverston said: “The evening was full of fun, laughter and a fair bit of head scratching trying to figure out the answers.
“It certainly lived up to its expectations.”
