Three arrests have been made after a “suspicious truck” was reported to the police.
At around 11.30am yesterday, police were called by a member of the public who said they had seen the truck in Whiteland Avenue area of Chorleywood.
The member of public said they recognised it from a social media post relating to a theft.

Shortly after 12pm, police received a separate call, reporting that a number of men had been seen loading a silver Volkswagen Polo, that had been parked outside of a property in Quickley Lane, onto a trailer that matched the description of the truck which had been given by the previous caller.
The truck then made off.
Police later located the vehicle, bringing it to a safe stop in Breakspear Way.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and subsequently taken to police custody.
Detective Sergeant Darren Machin, from the local crime unit, said: “Thanks to the vigilant members of the public who made calls to us, we were able to quickly identify and locate the vehicle, allowing us to make a number of arrests less than 15 minutes after being alerted to the theft of the car.”
