Watford residents will need to put their bins out one day later due to the coronation.
After a bank holiday, in celebration of His Majesty King Charles III and the Queen Consort’s Coronation, there will be changes to waste collection in the town.
Each collection will be shifted one day so if a road’s regular waste collection day is Wednesday the actual collection day will be Thursday (May 11) on that week.

These changes are not in collection calendars as they were published before the official date for the Coronation was announced, so Watford Borough Council has shared a revised table for the week.
The coronation is due to take place on May 6, however, an additional bank holiday had been scheduled for the Monday (May 8), where people were encouraged to volunteer in their communities.
This has meant all waste and recycling services have been suspended on the first day of the week.
