There are hints of a new business opening in atria after a bubble tea company applied for a sign outside a vacant unit.
Yi Fang has branches across the UK and its website claims “more stores are on their way”. One of those may be in atria Watford’s unit 19, next to Warhammer.
It has applied for advertising consent for an illuminated LED sign with the brand name to hang over the door, as well as an internal display featuring its menu.

Bubble tea includes a variety of flavoured fruit teas and milk teas served with chewy tapioca balls.
Mooboo Watford, Teddy Bear Bubble Tea Watford, Bubble King, and Bubbleology Watford also serve the drink.
Yi Fang’s menu features “pure tea”, fruit tea, fresh milk tea, "mudflip" drinks, and a variety of specialties including vegan options.
Watford Borough Council received the application yesterday (April 6) and it is currently “pending consideration”.
Yi Fang has been contacted for confirmation of its plans for the unit.
