A 23-year-old has been arrested after a crash that left him and a passenger seriously injured.
Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed they were called to the A405 North Orbital Road, Watford, just after 2am this morning (April 5) when it was reported.
A Land Rover and a Vauxhall van were involved and two people who were in the van were left "in a serious condition".

The East of England Ambulance Service sent two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle and a fire engine from Herts Fire and Rescue attended the scene to make it safe.
One patient was taken to Watford General Hospital and the other was taken to St Mary's Hospital.
The van driver, a 23-year-old man, was one of the pair taken to hospital and was arrested in connection with the crash. He remains in police custody as of 1pm.
At time of writing what he was arrested for has not been confirmed, as he has not yet been booked into custody. Updates to follow.
