Police found an imitation firearm, knife, machete, suspected cocaine and heroin, and 30 mobile phones - leading to a 21-year-old being charged.
Jaden Gray was charged with possession of Class A drugs, Class B drugs (cannabis), criminal property, and a knife in a public place.
He was also charged with resisting a constable in execution of duty.
Plain clothed police noticed a man acting suspiciously in Reeds Crescent, near Watford Junction, but as they approached him he made off and was pursued on foot before being detained in Prince Street.

Hertfordshire Constabulary then searched the suspect’s home address in St Albans Road and seized the 30 mobile phones, machete, imitation firearm, and more drugs - including cannabis.
Gray appeared in Hatfield magistrates’ Court yesterday (March 30).
He was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance in St Albans Crown Court on May 2.
