Appearing on Dragons’ Den led a Watford entrepreneur’s sales to "go though the roof".
Four months’ worth of website orders were placed for Botanycl overnight after its founder Caroline Sims secured a deal with Peter Jones and Steven Bartlett worth £60,000.
The former Queens’ School and Bushey Meads student impressed the dragons on BBC One with her plant-based skincare and health supplement brand Botanycl, on Thursday evening (March 23) .
Not only that, but she also must have impressed the viewers at home as she was shocked by the sheer number orders coming in.
At around 12pm on Friday, Caroline told the Watford Observer she already had no stock left anywhere.
The 32-year-old said: “I knew it would give it an uplift but I didn’t know it would be this crazy.
“Sales have gone through the roof.”
She added that her phone had been constantly blowing up with calls and messages since the show aired.
Botanycl’s range includes SkinClear Elixir, Vitamin C, and Vegan Vitamin D3 which aim to clear up acne breakouts.
Caroline suffered from skin problems since she was a teenager, which continued into adulthood and this led her to develop the product when other treatments failed.
She concluded that a hormonal imbalance was the root cause and began supplementing her diet with the plant-based ingredients used in Botanycl.
Knowing first-hand the detrimental effect acne can have on confidence and self-esteem, Caroline decided to launch the Botanycl SkinClear Elixir supplement so that she could help other women too.
Caroline added: “Peter and Steven's belief in my vision to become the plant-based Vitabiotics is validating.

The product is availiable through its website, Holland and Barrett, Superdrug, and Face the Future.
