A man has been charged after a shop window was smashed during a burglary.
Police were called to reports of a man breaking into Paparazzi in The Parade, Watford, at around 4.15am on March 13.
Paul Phelan, 29, from Hewitt Road in London, was charged with burglary and possession of cannabis.
He has been bailed and is due to appear before St Albans Magistrate’s Court on April 14.

Police said it is believed he gained access by smashing the front windows before stealing several bottles of alcohol.
Officers later arrested him in Albert Road North on suspicion of burglary and possession of cannabis.
Safer Neighbourhood team inspector Matt Langley said: “Thanks to the vigilant member of the public who called us to report this, we were able to make a swift arrest.”
Information can be reported to police via 101, quoting crime reference number 41/20659/23.
Wanted man
In a separate incident, police today released an image of Lewis Walker, 37, who is wanted for failing to attend St Albans Magistrates’ Court on March 9.
The court appearance was scheduled after he failed to comply with the community requirements of a suspended sentence order, for assaulting an emergency worker.
He was last known to be living in the Three Rivers area.
The relevant crime reference is 41/10339/23.
