A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a man was hospitalised in an assault.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said there was a clash involving a group of males, who police believe knew each other, in Gadebridge Park, Hemel Hempstead.
It happened at around 2pm on Friday, March 3.
A 19-year-old was taken to hospital with a head injury, but contrary to rumours online he is alive and recovering at home, the force confirmed.

“As an arrest has been made, it is imperative that the case is allowed to proceed unimpeded, and we would ask people to please refrain from commenting or speculating on social media.”
Hertfordshire Constabulary could not confirm whether the man was stabbed as they are "still working to establish how the injuries were caused at this time".
