We always love seeing what children in the Watford area dress up as on World Book Day – but what costumes will you blow us away with this year?
The annual celebration of books and reading is celebrating its 26th anniversary today but the teacher strikes may mean it has been moved for some children.
If your child is affected, they may still be dressing up as their favourite character from a book at home – and we would love to see what they are wearing.
On this page is a small selection of the pictures we featured last year, some opf which showcase the creative talents of parents or another adult in a child’s life.
Whether you’ve spent hours making a costume for your child or bought an outfit from a shop, we’d love to see as many pictures as possible of their costumes to celebrate World Book Day 2023.
You can send them to us by using the link below and we’ll do our best to feature as many as possible online and/or in print.
We know our area produces some of the best World Book Day costumes so let us show off as many as possible!
