A free event to support expectant parents or those with children under one has been launched.
The Baby Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 14, at the Meriden Community Centre in Meriden Way, Watford.
From 2pm to 4pm, parents or people expecting can meet each other with children the same age and there is no need to book.
- 'Long derelict' house could be restored and on the market this year
- Part of atria Watford temporarily evacuated this morning
The event, the first of its kind in Watford, will also play host to donating and swapping unwanted baby and maternity clothes.
Details on what items of clothing can be donated can be found here: https://bit.ly/3xRWGxa.
Run by Hertfordshire Family Centre Service, several events have taken place elsewhere in south west Hertfordshire.

So far, more than 100 families have benefited from attending.
One parent said: “Wonderful gathering, well organised. Enjoyed meeting with other mums. Stalls were informative. Lovely cupcakes.”
Parents will also be able to seek advice from the Early Start team and find out what support is available to local families.
