A Watford driver has been fined £1,024 for hitting speeds of more than 100mph in a Peugeot.
A Pro Laser 4 speed gun showed Ahmad Samadi drove at 102mph on the M1 in Barnet on July 4 2022.
The Wellington Road resident was fined £660 by Bromley Magistrates’ Court after a charge of speeding was proved on January 31.

He was also ordered to pay a total of £364 in costs and a victim surcharge and his driving record was endorsed with six points.
The 23-year-old was given until February 28 to pay.
A few days earlier, on January 26, Abdullah Azhar of Turner Road, Bushey, was ordered to pay a total of £729 and had his driving record endorsed with 6 points.
He was sentenced by Stevenage Magistrates’ Court after he was found “slumped over the wheel asleep” in the middle of two lanes in Waterfields Way, Watford.
The 27-year-old had been charged with driving without due care or attention on June 5 last year.
