The family of a man who died after being trapped under his own vehicle have issued a touching tribute.
Emergency services rushed to Thumpers in Hemel Hempstead following reports of the incident at around 8pm on February 1.
Despite their efforts the man died at the scene. Herts Police have today (February 10) named him as Andrew Jellis, 49, from Hemel Hempstead.
In a statement, his family said: “As a family we are beyond devastated and heartbroken. Andrew was the most incredible, kind and loving son, partner, dad and grandad. We loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.”
A 30-year-old man from Hatfield was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
