A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Hertfordshire.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A4251 London Road, near Hemel Hempstead, shortly after 6pm yesterday (February 2).
The boy was reportedly crossing the road when there was a collision with a black SEAT Leon.
The female driver and sole occupant has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, Herts Police confirmed.
The vehicle did stop at the scene.
Road Policing Unit Sergeant Nicholas Kane said: “We are trying to determine exactly what happened this evening and as well as witnesses, we are also keen to hear from anyone with dash cam footage or anyone who saw the incident.
