Emergency services have closed the M25 near Watford over concerns for the welfare of a man.
Herts Police told motorists to avoid the clockwise stretch between junction 20 for the A41 and 21 for the M1 at around 8.30am this morning (February 2).
A spokesperson told the Watford Observer: “Police were called shortly after 8.05am on Thursday 2 February to report concerns for the welfare of a man who had been found on the hard shoulder of the M25 northbound, near junction 21a.

“Officers are on scene alongside the ambulance service and closures are in place.
“People are asked to please avoid the area at this time.”
At 11.42am HCC Highways tweeted: "INCIDENT UPDATE: #Watford M25 CLOSED both ways between J20 (A41) and J21A will remain closed for several more hours while police investigate, following earlier RTC. #AvoidTheArea."
