A CCTV image has been released after a Remembrance memorial was damaged in Watford.
A ‘Lest we forget’ memorial by Tesco Express in North Approach, near Leavesden, was damaged by force and sparked a police investigation.
It happened over two months ago, at 9.55pm on November 25, following which Herts Police today (January 30) released a picture of people they would like to identify.
- Two people taken to hospital after bus crash
- Residents furious over 'no warning' works and overnight security
PC Kira Magee, who is investigating, said: “Since this incident was first reported several lines of enquiry have been carried out, and we are now releasing this image because we believe the two individuals pictured may have been in the area at the time and could assist with our investigation.
“If this is you, or if you recognise them, please email me at kira.magee@herts.police.uk.”
Information can also be reported via non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 41/96454/22.
