A four-year-old boy has been saved by firefighters after being accidently locked in his mother's car.
Lucy Solomon, 45, had taken Jack to buy some new school trousers at Asda on St Albans Road, on Thursday (January, 26).

After putting Jack into his car seat, Lucy left her key in the ignition and closed the door.
As she walked around the vehicle to enter herself, the doors locked and the alarm began to sound.
After an unsuccessful attempt at breaking the window with a hammer, the emergency services were called.
Lucy told The Watford Observer of how impressed she had been by the response: "I timed it, from the moment I made the call to the moment they arrived was 13 minutes!
"That includes making the phone call, from the time I pressed 999.
"They kept their blue lights on, because my son was like 'Ooh wow, this is cool'!"
Lucy had been particularly impressed by a female firefighter named Liz, who utilised coat hangers to hook the key from the car's ignition and pass it to Jack.
Liz has since been used as an example of a female firefighter at Jack's school.
Lucy and Jack now plan to take cakes to Watford Fire Station, as a thank you gift.
