A woman in her 20s has died at a train station, the British Transport Police have confirmed.
Emergency services were seen rushing to Chorleywood Underground station yesterday (January 26) after reports of someone on the tracks.
A BTP spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Chorleywood Underground station at 10.16pm yesterday evening following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, and sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
The woman’s next of kin have been informed, they added.
