An “extremely deep” pothole in South Oxhey which “burst a car tyre” is set to be filled.
The hole in Oxhey Drive was reported to Hertfordshire County Council through website FixMyStreet on December 3 after it apparently took out a driver’s tyre.
According to the driver’s report, the pothole had been in the road outside Rickmansworth Sports Cars for four months.
They wrote: “Since the snow and ice it has got much bigger and deeper. My car went through it, and it burst the tyre.

Hertfordshire County Council confirmed the pothole was reported and work has been scheduled.
It could not confirm a specific date but said it will be fixed within the next few weeks as it has been classified as "requiring a repair within 20 days".
The council added that repair crews are dealing with a large number of potholes that formed during the snow and ice in December, and are prioritising the most hazardous.
Website FixMyStreet helps people report problems such as fly tipping, potholes, and broken streetlights.
When someone makes a report, the location, a description, and optionally an image are then sent to the local authority.
