A Watford man is set to go on trial after he denied sending a woman a threatening message before damaging her gate.
Ben Parmar, of Dyson Court, is charged with criminal damage, possession of cannabis, and sending a threatening WhatsApp message.
The 32-year-old is accused of sending the message on August 24 last year.

He then allegedly damaged a metal gate worth £120 which belonged to the same woman on November 21, 2021, in Watford, when he also allegedly had cannabis his possession.
He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates' Court on December 13 where he elected to face a trial by jury in St Albans Crown Court.
Parmar was granted bail with conditions and is due to appear in the crown court on January 10.
He has also denied failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.
He allegedly failed to attend two unpaid work appointments in 2020 and is next set to appear in St Albans Magistrates’ Court on January 25 in relation to that charge.
