- A multi-vehicle crash has caused four miles of traffic on the M1 southbound between J7 and J6A near Hemel Hempstead
- Police have confirmed they are on the scene including fire and ambulance services
- National Highways estimates normal conditions will not resume until 6.15pm
- There is also very heavy knock-on congestion on the A41 and A414
- Police believe that up to four cars were involved
- A crew from Garston station has attended the scene
- All four lanes are now open, but there are delays of up to 20 minutes on the A41
- Delays on the A41 have now eased
