A Watford office for over 600 staff is set to close over Christmas to save money on energy bills.
One of Britain’s big four accounting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers, announced it is closing workplaces in London and other areas, including the one in Clarendon Road.
It will shut on December 23 until January 3.

A spokesperson added: “We will be allocating work areas for those who would benefit from that over those few days.”
The move was taken to reduce spending on heating and light as energy bills reach record levels and many employees take annual leave.
Company chairman Kevin Ellis told the Telegraph: "Office life is hugely important to our culture and business – but having all our offices open over the holiday period doesn’t make sense at a time of energy scarcity.
“Our people want us to do our bit to reduce energy consumption.”
PwC has 19 offices across the UK and employs around 24,000 people.
