The M25 near Watford was shut for around three hours following reports of concern for someone’s welfare on a bridge.
The clockwise motorway was closed between junction 20 for Hemel Hempstead and 21 for the M1 due to a “Herts Police incident” yesterday evening.
This morning a spokesperson for the force said: “Police were called at just after 8.30pm yesterday (Monday 5 December) to report the concern for welfare of a person on a bridge over the M25 at junction 21.
