Rickmansworth School was honoured to welcome an important visitor to plant trees as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy project.
On November 30, 2022, His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant, Robert Voss helped students to plant two wild cherry trees across the school.

The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) is a tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, which invites everyone across the UK to plant trees.
Mr Voss said: “I enjoyed an excellent visit to Rickmansworth School. It was an inspiring visit to an outstanding Hertfordshire school meeting some very impressive students.”
The school’s headteacher Matt Fletcher, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to welcome His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant, Robert Voss, to the School.”
