Watford fire station is now located in Lower High Street but 20 years ago it was situated next to a roundabout at one of the main entrances to the town.
Back in June 2003, former Watford Observer photographer Pete Stevens took to the skies with Firecrest Aviation from Elstree to photograph the town and surrounding areas.
During his flight, he captured the images on this page which show the fire station at its former home at the junction of Rickmansworth Road and Whippendell Road.
We have been looking back at these aerial pictures over the past month, featuring views of the town centre, Watford FC, Leavesden Studios and The Grove amongst other locations.
The town centre features again this week, as do aerial shots of Watford and Croxley business parks, the Arches Retail Park, the Royal Masonic School for Girls in Rickmansworth, Watford Grammar School for Boys and South Oxhey.
