A Tesco delivery driver is being investigated after he allegedly tried to kiss a customer on the lips on her own doorstep.
It happened on Wednesday afternoon and has left a 33-year-old mother-of-one feeling “vulnerable and scared”.
The driver had already dropped off the order at her home on the Meriden estate when within a minute, he returned and knocked on the door.
In footage captured on a doorbell camera, the driver, who the woman believes is in his 60s, says: “Please don’t be offended but how old are you”, to which she replies 33.

Appearing surprised, the driver exclaims "honestly", before allegedly grabbing both sides of her face, leaning in and trying to kiss her.
The woman, who does not want to be named, believes he was aiming for her lips. She claimed she turned away and felt his finger slide down her nose and lip, which she branded “disgusting”. In the end his lips never made contact with her, she added.
The smiling driver then offers a token gesture "sorry" before the woman, clearly uncomfortable, tries to close the door and he retreats.
Later that day when her husband viewed the footage, the couple reported the incident to Tesco.
The woman said the person she spoke to on the phone showed “no sympathy”, claiming she was told it was probably an “old friendly man”.
She said: “It’s crazy for a delivery man to try and kiss me on the lips. It’s unacceptable for anyone to do this.
“I think he could tell I am foreign and of Latin descent and he thought he might get away with it. I had no plan to make this public but Tesco’s [initial] response was not appropriate. Tesco needs to remind its employees – any delivery driver – of how to treat women who are alone.
“This has made me feel scared and anxious in my own home.”

The incident has been reported to police and officers have taken a statement and are investigating.
Tesco is also investigating and has suspended the driver from deliveries.
A spokesperson said: “We were really concerned to hear about this and take complaints of this nature extremely seriously. We immediately began an internal investigation and have reached out to the woman to apologise and make her aware of the actions being taken on our side.”
