A suspected knifeman has been taken into custody after armed police rushed to Cassiobury Park this afternoon.
Police say they were called to the park in Watford just after 1pm.
It had been reported that a male was walking through the park when another male approached him and threatened him, allegedly showing a knife.

The victim managed to run away unharmed and nothing was stolen from him.
Following a 999 call, Hertfordshire Constabulary sent armed officers and a helicopter to the park.

A search of the park was carried out and police have confirmed a male has been arrested in connection with the incident.
He is currently on his way into custody.
