An autistic woman was reportedly left to walk out of a GP surgery after falling over, fracturing her teeth and vomiting on the floor.
Mya Cox, 23, had gone to Manor View Practice in Bushey Medical Centre, in London Road, for an ultrasound with her mother Sally Anne Chapman.
After waiting 20 minutes they checked with reception as she struggles to wait due to autism and stress-related epilepsy.

When they went in for the appointment five minutes later, they were told that because Mya’s bladder wasn’t full enough, she needed to go out and drink water.
Her mother said: “After 20 minutes or so Mya started to get distressed and crying, she needed to use the toilet and didn’t understand why she couldn’t go.
“We were told another 20 minutes.”
When a nurse came to call her, Mya was so desperate her trainer gripped the floor and she fell flat on her face, fracturing two teeth and twisting her wrist and ankle.
Her mother added: “You could see her ankle swelling through her tights, I had to pick her tooth up off the floor, she was being sick more than once."
Although the ultrasound was carried out by Physiological Measurements Limited using a room in Bushey Medical Centre, the mother slammed Manor View for not doing more with so many doctors present.
“They asked me to put Mya in a room to do an accident report and told everyone else to go straight and write reports," she continued.
“It was all about covering themselves and not about helping the person on the floor.
“She was briefly looked over by the doctor, but they said they can’t do any more than that because it’s not her GP.
“We were just left to walk out of there.
“It was heartbreaking. I said straight way 'you can’t treat people like this'."
Mrs Chapman said they ended up having to complete a report and get an emergency appointment at Mya's normal surgery.
Manor View Practice said: “We are aware of a complaint which we will respond to directly. Our duty of confidentiality prevents us from commenting further.”
