Watford has been honouring its fallen heroes at Armistice Day events this morning and will do so again on Remembrance Sunday.
Civic leaders will join the Royal British Legion and representatives of other organisations for a wreath laying at the town’s war memorial outside the Town Hall at 3pm.
This will follow a parade led by the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire from St Mary’s Church to the Peace Memorial, starting at 2.15pm.
Who will you be remembering this weekend?
Will you be thinking of someone who was injured or didn’t return home from serving in a war?
Will you be wearing a poppy and marking the minute’s silence at 11am on Sunday in honour of a friend or relative?
