Police have confirmed that a man who was found with a head injury in Rickmansworth has died.
Emergency services were called to Parsonage Road at around 6.15am yesterday (Monday November 7).
A man was treated for an injury to his head but Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed this morning that he passed away.
A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the man sadly died and his next of kin have been informed.
“Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances of the man’s death.”

Officers say the man was aged in his 40s but he has not been named at his time. Details of how he is believed to have sustained his injuries have also not been disclosed. No arrests are believed to have been made in connection with the incident.
There was a heavy police presence in Parsonage Road all day on Monday with police not leaving the scene until around 8pm, according to a local.
The police activity focused on a residential building in Parsonage Road with a number of police vehicles parked in a car park.
A blue forensic tent was also put up next to one of the buildings and Parsonage Road was taped off between Rectory Lane and High Street.

Residents have been interviewed by officers at the scene with the area locked down for around 14 hours in total.
A fire engine was also photographed in the evening, which had reportedly come to take away a protective screen that had been put up.
In an initial statement provided on Monday afternoon, police said: “Police were called by the East of England Ambulance Service at just before 6.15am this morning (Monday 7 November) to report the concern for the welfare of man with a head injury on Parsonage Road, Rickmansworth.
“Officers and the East of England Ambulance Service attended and a man was treated.
“Officers remain in the area while the incident is investigated.”
