A woman walking alone through Cassiobury Park has been mugged in a "shocking attack".
The victim, in her 30s, was approached from behind by a man near the former Cha Café at around 6.50pm on Friday, November 4.
He reportedly struck her head after trying to take her bag, then made off with her purse.
The woman needed to go to hospital for treatment.

Her attacker was described as white, in his mid-20s, with a skinny face, short facial hair, and wearing a black top with a red stripe.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses – in particular two women who helped the victim after the attack.
Detective Constable Ian Blackledge said: “This was a shocking attack on a lone female. At the moment this appears to be an isolated incident and we are very keen to find the person responsible to prevent further incidents.”
