The following announcements were carried in the Watford Observer last week:

Maureen ‘Mo’ Bates – 1940 – 2022 – A beloved wife to Chas, sister to Julia, mother to Sarah & Nicola and grandmother to Molly. Maureen was an active member of the U3A, Bushey Ladies and a longstanding member of the Townswomen’s Guild. She was also an avid cyclist, swimmer, Pilates enthusiast, gardener and rambler. Maureen will be sorely missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Daly (Wallington) Doris – 1931 – 2022 – Passed 14/10/22. Reunited with John. A beloved Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, Auntie. Deeply missed by Lawrence, Tina, Gary, Karen and all family and friends.

DAVIS Jeremy Court known as Jerry – Sadly passed away on 24th October 2022 aged 82 years. Beloved Husband, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad. He will be immensely missed by all his family and friends.

MAUREEN HARVEY – of Chalmers Court, previously Beechcroft Avenue. Passed away peacefully on October 15th 2022. Surrounded by her beloved Husband Jack and Son Darren. A much loved and respected Wife, Mum, Sister, Grandmother and friend. Maureen will be greatly missed by all her family and large circle of friends.

SCANLON Ray - ‘Ray the Print’ – Sadly passed away on the 13th October 2022, aged 67 years at Watford General Hospital. He was much loved and will be missed by so many, not least his Wife Barbara, Daughter Rachel and Son Kevin, as well as his Grandchildren Niamh, Isabella and Sophia.

Vernon Toms (formerly of Bushey) – Died peacefully at his home near Kettering on 27th October aged 93 years. Dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Walker Roger Trevor – Sadly passed away on 22nd October 2022, aged 76. A much loved Husband, Dad & Grandad who will be greatly missed by all his family & friends.
