Watford Bonfire Night fireworks displays in 2022

Also known as Guy Fawkes night, it commemorates the occasion in 1605 when Fawkes was arrested whilst guarding explosives that had been placed underneath the House of Lords as part of the Gunpowder Plot.

We've rounded up several fireworks displays you'll be able to attend at the beginning of November in and around Watford.

Cassiobury Fireworks

Address: Cassiobury Park

When: Saturday, November 5

Organised by Watford Borough Council, Hertfordshire's largest FREE fireworks display could be the one for you.

Hosted by ​Vibe 107.6FM, there will be music from 6pm along with competitions and of course the spectacular fireworks display starting at 7.30pm.

There's also going to be a range of food and drinks stalls, along with funfair rides, bungee trampolines and a bouncy slide to keep everyone well-fed and entertained before the main display.

Radlett Musical Fireworks

Address: Tabard RFC, Cobden Hill, Radlett

When: Sunday, November 6

The fireworks display is back and promises to be bigger and better than before with even more fireworks and food stalls than in previous years.

Keeping ticket prices the same as in previous years, the local event sees profits go to local charities. 

The firework display starts at 6pm with some queues expected during entry. 

There will be funfair rides, food stalls and more, they are also asking to bring cash in case mobile card payment becomes unavailable. 

St Albans Fireworks Spectacular

Address: Verulamium Park, St Albans

When: Saturday, November 5

The fireworks spectacular is back in Verulamium Park and will be accompanied by Elvis music, 'The golden reign of rock 'n' roll'.

Gates are from 6pm with the display starting at 7.30pm and ticket prices start at £4 for those under 16's. 

The display raises money for local charities, with this year's chosen organisations being Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, Emmaus and The Living Room, as well as St Albans Cathedral.
