A man has died after falling from a bridge onto the M25.
The incident occurred at around 4.30pm yesterday afternoon (Friday, October 28), at Junction 18 for Chorleywood.
Emergency services attended, after receiving reports of concern for the man's welfare.
Following their arrival, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hertfordshire police have confirmed that they do not believe the incident to be suspicious.
The M25's anti-clockwise carriageway was closed temporarily, whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
The road was reopened shortly after 9pm.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police said: "No further information is available currently, however officers would like to thank a number of motorists who stopped at the time in order to assist the man."
