Plans to replace Lloyds Bank in Garston Park Parade have been submitted with the site set to be used for dental and beauty care.
The bank was among 41 Lloyds branches to close in January, with the blame set on declining customer visits.
Yesterday (October 25), a planning application proposing to change the shop front and interior layout of the building was submitted including a new sign on the front of the building which reads ‘Elite Smiles Dental & Beauty’.

The proposed interior includes a laser treatment room, dental surgeries, office, and staff room with a number of new partitions to create the rooms and corridors.
Customers would step into a reception and waiting area where the bank floor had previously been.
Most of the exterior will match the existing frontage and will not be illuminated.
Before closing, Lloyds was the only bank set up in the Garston vicinity, with just an ATM available a minute away at Garston Park Parade.
