Three men have been jailed for perverting the course of justice in relation to the murder of Luke O’Connell.
The prison sentences began on Friday, October 21 after the trio were found guilty following a two-week trial at Reading Crown Court.
They were sentenced to the following:
- Talha Chohan, aged 27, of Beech Road, Watford, was sentenced to 28 months.
- Omar Chohan, aged 28, of The Harebreaks, Watford, was sentenced to 32 months.
- Wasim Saddique, aged 34, of St George’s Road, Watford, was sentenced to 32 months.

Luke died in hospital after being stabbed following a three-vehicle crash in Gammons Lane, Watford on August 31, 2019. He was 26.
This is the latest sentences in connection to the murder.

In September 2021, three other men were found guilty of murder, a further three men found guilty of manslaughter and one man guilty of perverting the course of justice. All were jailed.
In May 2022, a woman was also handed a prison sentence having previously been found guilty of perverting the course of justice.
