An overturned trailer caused chaos on a motorway for hours last night.
The crash happened on the M1 northbound at around 6.15pm (October 21) between junction 4 for Edgware and 5 for Watford.
Police say a trailer being pulled by a van flipped and spilled debris over the carriageway.
No one was injured in the crash, police said.

Two lanes were shut as a result of the incident and National Highways says the collision caused delays of at least 90 minutes for drivers heading out of London.
Delays reportedly eased by 11pm but traffic officers were still at the scene working to clear the road of debris and rubble.
National Highways tweeted that by 1.28am, all lanes had reopened.

Meanwhile, at collision involving several vehicles further north in Hertfordshire also caused disruption yesterday evening.
Traffic officers and emergency services were called to reports of a crash north of junction 8 for Hemel Hempstead at around 8.10pm.
One person was treated at the scene by paramedics for a suspected broken finger.
All lanes were back open by 10pm but the incident caused long delays and extra travel time of around an hour for some.
