Shoppers have reacted positively after Lidl finally revealed when its new store will officially open.
It has been confirmed the South Oxhey branch on the corner of Prestwick Road and Oxhey Drive will open on November 3.
The 18,800 sq ft store will have a 79-space car park and is part of a £218 million scheme that will also see 345 new homes built.

There have been mixed responses over the years to the regeneration scheme, but the new store seems to be ticking boxes for most.
Carol Gammell, who works as a caretaker at Warren Dell Primary School, said: “I think it is great that it will be opening soon.
“It is about time we had a better store in South Oxhey for people to go to. It will benefit everybody.”
Ms Gammell echoed those positive feelings, adding: "I drive to the Lidl or Aldi in Watford. I live round the corner of the new store so I can walk.”
The increase in traffic is a concern for Cara Hall, 32, who also lives in South Oxhey.
But the mum-of-two, who runs a cleaning business, believes that overall the new store is a positive addition.
She said: “I am glad that we have got a store with reasonably priced items.
“Tesco, the small ones at least, are expensive.”
Based on his door knocking in South Oxhey, Labour councillor Steve Cox also believes the store will be welcomed.
He added: “People haven’t discussed traffic directly to me, but as local councillors we think it is inevitable there will be an increase.
“Obviously it is part of the parcel, and we will have to see what improvements will need to be made at the junction of Oxhey Drive and Prestwick Road.”
Lidl GB’s regional head of property, Mike Devine, said it is “fantastic to open its doors”.
He added: “We have received overwhelming support from local residents, and we would like to thank all those who have played a part in delivering this new store.”
The store opening times will be between 8am-10pm, Monday-Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday.
