A home has been ransacked after burglars broke in through the back door.
The property in Watford Road, Croxley Green, was left secure before burglars broke in between 7.30pm and 7.50pm on Saturday, October 15.
A Hertfordshire Constabulary spokesperson said they are still waiting for details of what was taken after the victims returned to find the door damaged and the place in a mess.

On social media a Croxley woman said that officers, including a forensics team, visited the victims and spoke with neighbours.
Police urged anyone who has information or CCTV footage from the area near the Shell Garage in Watford Road to get in touch.
Earlier this month, the National Police Chiefs’ Council pledged to attend all home burglaries.
However, Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed the practise had already been in place across the county for years.
