A manhunt has been launched after a someone sped off from police in a stolen car.
The driver of a dark blue Citroen Picasso failed to stop after officers attempted to pull it over in Hemel Hempstead at around 3.20pm on Wednesday (October 12).
Hertfordshire Constabulary says the car was spotted in Long Chaulden, where attempts were made to arrest the driver, but he managed to evade officers and drive off.
The car was eventually found abandoned in Pipit Walk, Aspley.
No injuries have been reported.

The unidentified driver was able to evade officers on the ground and in the air after a helicopter was called in to help with the search.
No arrests have been made and enquiries to trace the driver are ongoing.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information or video footage to come forward.
