A Watford man will go on trial after he denied allowing a “dangerously out-of-control” Doberman to injure a woman.
Mark McCarthy, 34, is charged with being the owner or person in charge of a dog which caused injury in Cassiobury Drive on May 20 last year.
McCarthy, who also lives in Cassiobury Drive, is set to appear for trial in Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on January 20 after an appearance in the court on Monday (October 10).

He has been granted bail.
He initially entered a not guilty plea on December 10, 2021.
Also in court
James Dickson from Watford has been ordered to pay £439 for “throwing down, leaving, or otherwise depositing a cigarette” in Temple Street, Birmingham, on March 22.
The charges against the 32-year-old, of Gullet Wood Road, were proven in Birmingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday (October 11).
He has until November 8 to pay the money, which includes a £220 fine.
