More than 200 homes available for rent at an “affordable” price will be offered across Watford over the next 18 months.
People are being invited to express their interest in living in the properties that are being built and completed across the town.
The homes of various sizes will be let at approximately 20 to 30% less that current market rent value with the properties – most of which are flats - owned by local housing associations.
The type and length of tenancy agreement offered will vary with each development or housing association landlord.

Those interested are invited to visit Watford Borough Council’s website to sign up for alerts about properties that become available. There are no conditions as to who is eligible to sign up.
Watford mayor Peter Taylor said: “The ongoing cost of living emergency is tough on us all and private rent remains at an all-time high. We want to help local people to access affordable rent properties.
“Simply add your name to the list today and find out what’s available to you and your family.”
