An investigation into a large brawl recorded outside a pub has been closed due to a “lack of evidence”, police have said.

Onlookers reported “carnage” outside the Tudor Arms in Bushey Mill Lane, Watford, on August 21, with videos emerging of the violence.

A man was left with “two deep cuts” after he was reportedly bottled during the fight shortly after Anthony Joshua’s defeat against Oleksandr Usyk.

The force says it involved two other men in the car park of the pub and that the victim was also kicked.

But video footage, which has since been removed, showed at least six men throwing chairs and punches outside the pub.

At the time there were no arrests as police investigated the brawl.

But now Hertfordshire Constabulary has told the Watford Observer that the case has been closed and no action has been taken against any of the attackers.

A spokesperson for the Tudor Arms previously said the team was assisting police and no serious damage was caused to the property.
